Working with the EPO as SISA and IPEA

As an optional procedure, applicants can file a “demand” under Chapter II PCT and receive an international preliminary examination report from the EPO. This procedure gives applicants the opportunity to respond to any negative finding of the ISA during the international phase, as opposed to drafting and filing multiple responses with the national/regional offices where national phase entry is made. This video also presents the possibility to receive a supplementary international search report in addition to the search carried out by the competent ISA.
